About

My name is Dan Castelline. My wife, Genevieve, and I live in New Canaan, CT with our son, Benjamin. For the past decade, I have held general management and brand leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies – including E. & J. Gallo Winery, Philips, and Henkel – where I have led business units ranging from $30M to $400M in revenue. Today, I am looking to purchase and personally operate a small-to-medium business in Fairfield County.Leadership has been a constant throughout my life – from captaining my college lacrosse team, to founding a retail business after graduating, to serving on the board of a nonprofit close to my heart. After a decade building brands and leading teams inside large organizations, I am ready to bring that same discipline and care to a business I can call my own.My background has taught me how to lead cross-functional teams, translate data into clear strategic priorities, and run day-to-day operations with an eye toward long-term health, not just quarterly numbers. I am looking to apply that experience to a business with a strong operational foundation – one built by an owner who has earned the trust of their team and their customers – and to build on that foundation for decades to come.

Approach

I am looking to acquire one business in Fairfield County, CT generating $5–$20M in revenue. The ideal fit is a company that is operationally sound – strong craft or service, loyal team, a solid reputation – but that hasn't yet fully invested in sales, marketing, or branding. That is where my background can add the most value.I am not a private equity firm, and I am not looking for a quick flip. I am backed by my own capital and a small group of aligned individual investors who share a disciplined, long-term view with no defined exit timeline. My goal is simple: protect the brand and reputation you have built, invest in your people, and steward the company responsibly for the next 20 to 30 years. If you have spent years building something you're proud of, my aim is to honor that – not disrupt it.
